PHILANTROPY
In addition to her work as a performing artist, writer and poet, Kizzy is passionate about the inclusion and respect for all people, including those with intellectual challenges.
She is an animal lover as well as is a devoted advocate for women's rights and the wellbeing of woman and girls all over the world.
Kizzy is a committed supporter of organizations which fight for the health and wellness of men, women and children suffering from illness.
Kizzy was the initiator of 'Schiedam Steunt St. Maarten', a charity event she set up to collect donations and goods for Saba, St. Eustatius and especially St. Martin which was hit the hardest by hurricane Irma.
The show hosted by Marco Spruit Bleeker aired LIVE on Popup TV and featured music artists, poets, speakers, historians, schools, politicians and there were even international LIVE interviews with Jonathan Johnson, the Island Governor of Saba, and Kingdom representative Gilbert Isabella.
Kizzy who kept the TV audience up to date about the donations ended with a tribute, singing the National Anthems of Saba, Statia, and St. Martin.
All donations went to the Dutch Red Cross through the notary who was present. The goods were sent to the affected Islands with the collaboration of the Dordrecht Police Force.

CHARITY CONCERT FOR
HUNTINGSTON'S DISEASE
Kizzy was the presenter at the Charity Concert for Huntington's disease. She gave a musical performers as well.
The dinner show and concert, organized by Jazzpodium Waterweg and innitiated by Marije Scholl-Gelderblom (center on the photo holding the check) took place on December 15 within the beautiful scenery of de Grote- of Sint Janskerk in Schiedam.

KIZZY IN STUDIO KOM MAAR OP FOR THE
PRINCES BEATRIX SPIERFONDS
Kizzy's interview and performance for the Prinses Beatrix Spierfonds foundation can now be seen online. She spoke about supporting this foundation in Studio Kom Maar Op on Pop Up TV. The show was produced by Marco Spruit Bleeker.
THE 20 YEAR ANNIVERSARY CONCERT OF
DE ROLANTINO'S
De Rolantino's is an orchestra consisting of musicians with a disability led by Annelies Kars. For this special event they were fronted by 5 guest singers.
Kizzy wrote the lyrics to one of the songs that Annelies Kars, wrote for them. The song 'Lekker Chill' was being sung by a group of voice students led by Kizzy on stage during the 20th year Anniversary of the Rolantino's Wij Gaan Ervoor! on the 17th of September in Theater aan de Schie. This happened while De Rolantino's accompanied them on stage.
There were several artist performing including Ria Valk, Imca Marina, and Marianne Weber.

CHARITY SHOW FOR
SOPHIA'S CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL
Kizzy was invited for a second year to perform Zuiderparkdagen Festival, organized by DJ Hansie.
The proceeds went to the Sophia Children's Hospital.
Kizzy performed at the Alpe d'HuZes Charity show.
The High Tea & Entertainment show with music poetry of several performing artists was held at Theater Twee Hondjes in Hellevoetsluis.
Kizzy intrigued the audience with her music and her poem Cel Voor Cel which she wrote as a hommage to those who suffer from the effects of cancer. Read Cel Voor Cel here.

THE 'WERELD DAG' SHOW FOR:
THE YOUTH IN GHANA
Kizzy was the presenter at the 'Wereld Dag' show of Lentiz LIFE College, wearing traditional Caribbean clothing. The show was organized to sponsor orphans in Ghana through sports activities by the YETS Foundation.

I immediately said yes when Stichting Dierenhulp reached out to me last year. I applaud what this organization does to end the suffering of stray dogs and cats in the Dutch Caribbean.

HANDS OFF OUR GIRLS
IN HET GLAZEN HUIS
3FM SERIOUS REQUEST & SERIOUS CITY
Kizzy hosted the Hands Off Our Girls charity show (3FM Serious Request and Serious City) on PopUp TV from Het Glazen Huis in Winterland Schiedam. This was to support female victims of sexual violence in war-zones.
She joined the Schiedam Serious City team as they travelled together to het Glazenhuis in Haarlem to hand over the check for this cause.
Kizzy also wrote a poem for this cause and recited it when she hosted the show from het Glazen Huis.

THE RED CROSS presents:
THE 'YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL' SHOW
Kizzy performed at the 'You Are Beautiful Show' organized by the red cross. The annual show, in which the youth with a disability is entertained and put in the spotlight, was held at Theater Zuidplein and hosted by Red Cross Goodwill Ambassador Eric Corton. Before performing, Kizzy was also a makeup artist for the disabled at the event. See the video of the show.
